My last attempt at the Week 2 run was on Aug. 27, but I’m back at it! Inspired by an article I read in the New York Times yesterday, “Happy to Be the Tortoise in the Race to Fitness,” I decided to change my outlook on this whole thing. It really doesn’t matter how quickly I’m moving, what matters is that I’m moving. And behold, success!
Week 2 - 90 seconds running / 2 minutes walking, repeated six times
Run Distance - 1.70 miles (per the Google Maps Pedometer)
Total Distance - 2.42 miles (with warm-up and cooldown walks)
Average pace per mile - 11:22
Fastest pace per mile - 9:50 at the finish
