so I've been a bit delinquent . . .
Sorry that I haven’t been able to update this blog regularly, but my exercise schedule has shifted. (I am still exercising, though, I promise!) Because of extremely late and/or varied hours at work, I’ve started doing Total Body Conditioning and yoga classes in the mornings before work at a location near my office. I work out mornings on those days I know I won’t make my evening...

Strength training - Routine 2
At this point, I’m just trying to fit things in any way I can. 3 x 20 chest press - 8 lb. 3 x 20 bent over row - 8 lb. 3 x 20 shoulder press - 8 lb. 3 x 20 chest flys - 8 lb. 3 x 20 upright rows - 8 lb. 2 x 25 side crunches 1 x 10 pushups

Strength training - Routine 1
Holy hell, it’s been a crazy-busy week on my end. I’m up in New Hampshire now on vacation, but I knew I had to squeeze in some exercise because who knows when I’ll be able to back in New York. Strength training - Routine 2
More weights at home. This is what happens when I’m essentially working the equivalent of three jobs and don’t have any extra time. Sigh. 3 x 20 chest press - 8 lb. 3 x 20 bent over row - 8 lb. 3 x 20 shoulder press - 8 lb. 3 x 20 chest flys - 8 lb. 3 x 20 upright rows - 8 lb. 2 x 25 side crunches 1 x 10 pushups

No time to hit the gym, so I did a quick weights routine at home! 3 x 20 bicep curls - 8 lb. 3 x 20 tricep overheads - 8 lb. 6 x 20 hammer curls (3 sets each arm) - 8 lb. 4 x 20 tricep kickbacks (3 sets each arm) - 8 lb. 2 x 25 crunches 1 x 10 pushups

I haven’t done this routine since April, and it was amazing how far I’ve progressed. I remember not being able to hold plank position for 30 seconds, and now I felt like I could easily go past 60 seconds.
